Fully insulate your cold and draughty cellar
Our EcoPro Cellar Insulation Kit is ideal for insulating cold and draughty Cellars. EcoQuilt Expert Insulation has 6 layers of highly reflective foil and wadding and also has a built-in vapour control layer when taped and sealed with Thermaseal foil joining tape, which is provided with the kit. Cellars can contain a lot of moisture and dampness, which can lead to issues with mould, so taping and sealing the EcoQuilt will help protect your home from these issues.
It can be used to insulate both the walls and the ceiling of the cellar/basement if you are completing a cellar conversion, or it can be used for the ceiling alone to prevent cold bridging from below. At just 15mm thick in its open state, EcoQuilt compresses down to only 6mm thick. If the ceiling of the cellar is quite low, this is the perfect space-saving solution for you.
It's equivalent to around 50mm of rigid board such as Kingspan or 100mm of Rockwool!
The EcoPro Cellar Insulation Kit is designed to reflect the heat into your home rather than escape through the cellar. It'll also prevent cold draughts from rising through the floorboard from the cellar and maintain a much more ambient temperature within your home.
