Upgrade Your Tank and Vessel Insulation

Ecohome Insulation's exclusive Tank & Vessel Insulation Kit. How to Insulate Tanks & Vessels, to retain maximum heat, stop freezing, and reduce energy costs.

We have designed a multifoil reflective insulation solution specifically for Storage Tanks & Vessels. The benefit of our kits is that they will assist in storing liquids, where frost protection or retaining more heat for longer is required.

Our Multifoil works in two ways, the first is that it slows down the heat transfer due to its multi-layered make-up. The second, and most important, is that it's highly reflective foils either side of the product. The internal foil layer will help keep the tanks & Vessels at a more ambient temperature. The external foil will help to repel the cold.

For outdoor applications, we recommend battening the exterior of the foil before installing a cladding. This cladding will protect the exterior foil, resulting in an insulation system that is likely to last the lifetime of the tank.

How do I protect the insulation if the tank or vessel I want to insulate is outside?

Once the insulation has been added you should add battens to the exterior of the foil insulation and attach cladding or a plastic cover, this will help the insulation last the lifetime of the tank or vessel.

How does the insulation help retain the heat?

Due to the multilayers of wadding and foil, it’ll reflect the heat back towards the tank or vessel and repel cold air away.

What sort of vessels can I insulate using this kit?

How do I attach the insulation to the tank or vessel?

You’ll add wooden battens around the tank or vessel and use this as a base to staple the insulation too.

Do I need to protect the insulation if it’s being used inside?

No, you don’t need to add cladding around the insulation if it’s being used inside because you wouldn’t have to protect the insulation from all weather types.
