High-Performing Roofing Membrane
YBS BreatherQuilt is the higher-performing and less costly alternative to TLX Gold. BreatherQuilt is an insulating 2 in 1 Multifoil and Breathable Membrane designed for over rafter use.
You can save cost, installation time, and depth in your project by incorporating this high-performing multifoil. Compressing to just 7mm over the rafter, it takes up virtually the same depth as a standard roofing membrane, whilst adding excellent thermal benefits.
This breathable multifoil consists of 11 layers of low-emissivity reflective foils and wadding. All layers are perforated to create breathability and to assist in eliminating condensation in your roof. You will also find Double Sided Tape included within BreatherQuilt, which speeds up the installation process when overlapping the product.

You can also use BreatherQuilt to boost your EPC rating due to it being fully certified. BreatherQuilt comes on easy-to-handle 1.2m x 10m rolls (12 m2 Coverage).
Install BreatherQuilt by stapling horizontally and slightly draped over the rafters, before tile battens. If you wish to install BreatherQuilt taut (no drape), a counter batten is advised before laying tile battens.
